In 2010 we chose Mimio® as our interactive solution because it was less expensive than other like products and we did not have to deal with the challenge or expense to have it installed. With Mimio® we do not have to worry about bringing students to the technology; we bring the technology to our students.

We have found Mimio® to be very beneficial to our classrooms because we now have an interactive tool that has increased student engagement!  We can change lessons on the go and my colleagues like being able to post notes and examples online by using MimioCapture™.

Several years ago, we won a Mimio® XI bar and tested it with one of our teachers.  While software functionality was limited at the time, she began creating resources related to her curricula and grew to love Mimio® because of its positive impact on her instructional practice and student learning.  When we were ready to purchase additional interactive whiteboard technology for our staff, we purchased Mimio® because we were familiar with the technology, it was portable, and easy to use.

Mimio® has been most beneficial to both our teachers and students.  Our teaching staff has discovered there are infinite possibilities with Mimio® products enabling them to take advantage of teachable moments when they have the Mimio® tools at hand.  With Mimio® we are able to engage and excite students in the moment as needed, whether we are using MimioVote™ for immediate feedback, MimioCapture™ for saving notes and information, or the MimioStudio™ software for designing instructional resources suited for specific curriculum.
